Well I've been home from Provo for four days and I must say, it's been a fantastic break so far. I've barely left the house but I wouldn't have it any other way.
On Tuesday, I woke up at 6 am so I would have enough time for some last minute studying and the last three finals. I finished my last test at 4:30 and was in the car, on the road to Vegas by 4:45. Clearly, I was ready to get home. So what have I been doing for the last few days?
Well, I went in to Regan's kindergarten class on Thursday and Friday to help out. I had so much fun. She kept running up behind me while I was stapling or talking to the teacher, giving me the biggest hug, and saying "Kelsey thank you so much for coming to school today." We made gingerbread houses, gingerbread men, gingerbread hats, necklaces.... We were learning G for gingerbread. So much fun!
I went to see Sherlock Holmes 2 yesterday. Most people know that I have a little obsession with Robert Downey Jr. I might be biased because I'm really lucky and have met him a couple of times but let's be real here... he's an amazing actor and ridiculously good looking. One of the times we met was on the set of the second Sherlock in London. I know, I'm the luckiest girl in the world. So it was a mind-blowing experience to see the scenes we'd seen in real life show up on screen.
Let's see.... other than that, I've been laying around the house taking naps, watching Christmas and Disney movies, eating delicious homemade food, and hanging out with my favorite people on earth. I guess now that I've been home for a while and had time to recover from the semester, I can go out and see people. But to be honest, the last few days have been almost perfect. I love Christmas :)
