Then the four of us decided to be a bit touristy and visit the London Eye. The line took exactly 45 minutes (after the initial 10 minutes we waited for our tickets). I've been on the London Eye once before so I knew what to expect this time. It really is the most beautiful view of this wonderful city that has become another home to me.

Before our scheduled show started, we had some time to kill and ate at this quaint little pub we found near the theatre in Greenwich and wandered about a bit. Greenwich is truly lovely. And then we saw the most unique performance of King Lear imaginable. It started off weird and got progressively weirder. We're talking a female Lear, incredibly loud rock music, and the actors running back and forth across the stage yelling "AAAAAA AAAAAAAA AAAAA!!!" It was absolutely hilarious. And the moments when we were supposed to be serious and quiet, everything became infinitely funnier. I was in pain while trying to keep myself from bursting out laughing. But we managed and I'm sure I'll never forget it.
Chillin at the pub
We got home pretty late because the train we were on was stopped on the tracks for 15 minutes or so. However, I discovered shortly thereafter that one of the most gorgeous things about living in London is that the recent Doctor Who episodes are immediately available online. Oh my stars. Tonight's episode was absolutely unbelievable. I won't give anything away (spoilers) and most of you are probably among those who sin against nature and don't watch Doctor Who but I'll put it this way: It is 1:20 am right now and I'm up blogging because this last episode jazzed me up so much that I cannot fall asleep. Long live the Doctor. Haha. Irony.
And then I had some of the cooked brownie batter (you can't really call them brownies and that's why they're so good) that my blessed roommate made and thus ended a marvelous day.
