Being sparkly and sarcastic in London

I figured the blog was the best way to keep my family and friends updated on my European adventures. So here I am!

It has been a very long day to say the least. I flew out of the Las Vegas airport at 4:40 pm yesterday I suppose. But it's the same day for me. If that makes sense. The plane was amazing. Each seat had its own private television that had hundreds of movies, tv shows, and games to choose from so I was well entertained. The seats could have been a bit bigger but I have no complaints. Kaitlin Kelly, a friend from home who is also on the trip with me, and I got a cab to our flat and we're all moved in. We walked around a bit and explored our area. We're right next to Kensington Gardens and it is beautiful here.

There was one odd thing though. I had to get some hangers because I brought a lot of clothes so we went to this store that is a bit like Walgreens. But there are no products; just computer monitors. So rather than shopping around and picking out the items you want, you search the call number of the item and request it at the desk. Super strange. But it makes a lot of sense for a place like London where there is never enough space. Kaitlin and I found a delicious Indian restaurant and they even put ice in our drinks which is super rare. Anyone who knows about my ice addiction will realize how much I'm going to struggle without it.

We didn't take any pictures today because it's been a rough one and our faces show it. But there will be plenty to come in the next month.

I love it here. I can't believe this will be my home for the next 7 weeks. So blessed. I'm going on an adventure!!!
