"Don't rain on my cheese!"

Day three was another magical day!

We had a bit of a slow start this morning but we made it. We went to Middle Temple as a group today. I'm embarrassed to say that I knew nothing about this place until today but oh my goodness did I fall in love with it?! So Middle Temple is used to call their barristers (lawyers) to court. It's key to British law. The most amazing part was the hall. Not only is it the location of the first performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, but everyone from Elizabeth I to Charles II to Princess Diana has dined there. The main table is permanent so all of the previously noted people and more sat at the same table. And I sat there too. Yeah I was freaking a little bit. The rest of Middle Temple was amazing too. The Prince's Room has portraits of a Mr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Yes. Robert Louis Stevenson was inspired by the portraits in this room. I loved this place so much!

Then we went to Temple Church. Have you read or seen Da Vinci Code? It's featured in both and the movie nerd in me was loving it. "These are effigies!"

After that we walked across the Millennium Bridge. The one that the Death Eaters destroyed in the 6th Harry Potter. Awesome as well.

We saw the Globe Theatre!! Unfortunately the original was burned down after a cannon set off during a performance of Henry VIII started a fire. But we saw the reconstructed one as well as the Rose Theatre and the place where the original Globe was.

THEN my life was changed. We went to Burrow Market and I had the most amazing grilled cheese sandwich ever. Seriously. I fell in love.

We took a nap. Frankly it was too long of a nap but we were beat. Then tonight we saw our first show. Othello was being performed in a teeny tiny theatre in the upper floor of a pub. The show was wonderful and Othello himself was beautiful. He is my moor god.

That's pretty much it. Still loving everything :)
