We started off the day by heading over to Camden market. Wow there were a lot of people. It has a sort of Venice Beach feel except everyone has a stall rather than just a tent or a table and it was freezing rather than the beautiful Venice warmth. I bought a sweater that I'm rather excited about. The vendors are incredibly pushy but the place had a very exciting air about it.

I'm starting to understand the tube and bus schedule a little more and I'm trying to understand where I live in relation to all the main places we visit but London is a vast city. The tube is crowded and noisy and hot but I LOVE riding it because it makes me feel like a real Londoner. I'm also getting the hang of British money. They use coins a lot more than we do in the states and if you go the easy route and just ignore your change and elect to use bills, you waste a lot of money. So I've held a couple people up in line while I fish coins out and add in my head but I'm improving all the time.
On the way to the tube
We saw The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time this afternoon. The storyline of the show is easily describable but the actual production is impossible to put into words. It's about a young man with asperger syndrome who struggles in his relationships with his mother and father. But the show is produced through the eye of Christopher himself so everything is shown in graphs and equations and the story is told in simplistic terms. The effects were simply stunning. My roommate said it best when she said it was really difficult to watch because it gave her so much anxiety. I felt exactly the same way and I can't really say why but it was also a marvelous and touching production. I bought a button from the stand to remember the show by that says "I am confused by people." And I am.
Then we came home and I watched Doctor Who for the first time in its native land! And guess what? No commercials that's what. One more episode of this series :( BUT I just found out that one of my favorite guest stars is in the production of One Man Two Guvnors that we're seeing so guess who's going to be doing some serious stalking after the show?
Watchin the Doctor on my tv like a native
On another happier fantastic wonderful amazing Christmas-Eve like note, I get to speak to my brother Michael tomorrow!! Well not directly. His mission president said he's only allowed to call my mother so she is skyping with him and Facetiming me so I can see him. I am so very excited to talk to my brother :)
Michael and some tiny Ecuadorian man
