"I have never craved lemon curd before"

It's getting more and more difficult to decide which day has been my favorite so far. Right now it is today. Guys, today was just WONDERFUL :)

The usual Monday. We had class at 9. BUT we were given peanut butter and lemon curd sandwiches as a reward for getting to class on time. Sounds disgusting right? The word "curd" just puts me off every time. I don't want to eat a curd. But there I was curding and it was delicious pants. It was basically peanut butter and lemon jelly so yum. And then the adventure began....
We went to the Sherlock Holmes museum. It's located at, you guessed it, 221B Baker Street.. We were expecting it to be ok and to have a look around. It was simply marvelous. I was fangirling all over the place. And here are some pictures to prove it.
Just chillin with the local law enforcement at 221 B
This picture was difficult to snap as everyone was laughing
Me and "Sherlock's bed." Still exciting for me
Sherlock, Watson, and myself
"To Sherlock Holmes, she was always the woman."

We had so much fun at the museum!! We even signed the visitor's log. And then we took a little ride around the city on the bus. It never gets old. I love sitting on the top floor of the bus and watching the city go by. It's relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. We decided to walk home through Kensington Square Gardens which is home to many of the British foreign embassies. We were not allowed to take pictures but believe me when I say that the buildings were gorgeous. It was not freezing outside so we were able to enjoy the walk home.

And then it happened.

We went to see The Audience starring Helen Mirren. It was simply stunning and she was radiant in every single moment. She is truly very gifted. The show is about the queen and her experiences with the prime ministers. It was beautifully executed and very touching. Helen Mirren was born to play the queen.
So not only did we see her flawless performance but my roommate Ivy and I did some creeping around the theatre and found the back exit. We were some of the first people there so we were right next to where Mrs. Mirren would exit. She signed my ticket for me and we even had a brief conversation in which I thanked her for her gorgeous performance and told her that it made me patriotic about a county that is not even my homeland. She laughed and said she loved that. She was such a sweet lady and stuck around to sign pictures and playbills and talk to people even though she was surely exhausted.
 She is just lovely
 Oh just hangin with Helen
My signed ticket
This sums Ivy and me up pretty well

So yeah. That was some of today. We also found this amazing Beatles store and a restaurant that had unlimited fountain drinks and the delicious crushed up pebble ice that I love so much. I had about 4 cups worth of ice. Happy K. I also found a couple pins to add to my collection. I don't know if I've mentioned that already. I'm collecting pins from everywhere we go to remember the trip by. I'm lovin it. Basically we had an absolute blast today.

And here for your viewing pleasure is beardy police cop. He's my favorite because he's creeping in every one of my pictures outside the Sherlock museum.
