The ruins of the Eynsford Castle
Failed heel kick
Beautiful countryside!
Lullingstone Castle
CRAZY hair zipline
The pictures just don't do it justice.
The walk took probably four or five hours and we were BEAT by the time we got home so that's pretty much all we did today. But it was really what I needed. We got out of the noisy city and into the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen. And I am not a nature person. There was this freezing cold stream near the beginning of the walk that I soaked my feet in for a little bit. Kaitlin, Ivy, and I took lots of pictures and did goofy things like heel clicks off of ruins. At one point, I was so overwhelmed with happiness that I yelled "THIS IS A PERFECT MOMENT IN TIME!" And it really was. The sun was warm, the grass was soft, and I was eating a lovely lunch among the ruins of a castle that was built in 1088.
So I was trying to make my way into this shrub because I wanted to get a picture of my creeping through. Apparently we didn't get a picture of it but one of our guides just full on shoved me into the leaves. I met the man maybe thirty minutes previous and he had no misgivings about pushing me into the foliage. It was pretty dang hilarious actually.
Leaf creepin
I loved today!
