I have no reservations about saying this.... today was pretty unsuccessful. Class as per usual. Wrote a paper. Went on a tour of the National Theatre. Guys... the longest most pointless tour I have ever experienced. The tour guide just talked and talked about so many things that I didn't care about. And she said "kind of" (well really it was more like "kina") upwards of 200 times. We stopped counting.
Before the tour. So full of hope and optimism.
About 40 minutes in. I just couldn't handle it anymore.
Then we grabbed some food at Wagamama's. No complaints. Good curry. And then Kaitlin and I ended up going on an hour long quest for Ben's Cookies which ended with a very closed and vacated Ben's Cookies shop. So we got frozen yogurt which was very yum. And it was caramel, not ham, that they were serving as a yogurt topping.
BUT we did get a good shot of the two most iconic London sights so that was cool. Today may have flopped a bit but it is still a marvelous thing that I'm here.
