"Let's see the gross half of your face!"

Today was just marvelous!!! We went to Hampton Court today. Hampton Court Palace was built by King Henry VIII for one of his court favorites but he later took it for himself. I'm slightly obsessed with Tudor and Elizabethan England. And I basically hung out at Henry VIII's house today. I may have cried a little bit. I didn't get a lot of good pictures because they didn't allow pictures in a lot of the exhibits and my roommates hate history. That was literally a quote from today... "Sorry. We hate history." Pain.

You can see the palace in the background.
So very excited!
The Chapel Royal! This is where Henry's only son Edward was christened.
The dining hall! A legitimate Tudor dining hall.
Head of the table
One of the few portraits of the whole family. It shows Henry, his three kids, his fools, and his third wife. A little awkward since he was married to his sixth wife when he commissioned it.
 Chillin with Henry
An antechamber outside of Henry's chambers. This is where the courtiers would hang out and socialize!
Look at how beautiful the gardens are! They rival Versailles.
I just really really really loved Hampton. It was like stepping into one of my books. And then we went to see Phantom of the Opera which was just wonderful. I had some reservations but they won me over in the end.
That's the end. Now here is something I found that makes me laugh over and over again.
